This project is intended to highlight awareness of the false impressions we create everyday on first sight, focussing on the appearances we label from the outside, unaware of their personal lives. How this clouds the way we percieve someone which can lead to unfair and incorrect opinions and treatment. To show through portraits the reality of these first impressions we automatically create in the professional and personal lives of people who look out for us. Those who risk their own well-being to protect others. Researching into these jobs; documenting their work appearance and their look outside of the uniform. Choosing three significant examples, two of which have been proven to not look like their profession and the other who does, but all three are judged incorrectly.
